Roadmap

What we are building, what is planned, and what you asked for — with votes that decide the order and our answer on every request. What we chose not to build is here too, with the reason. Nothing on this page is on the product until it moves to What's new.

Sign in to vote and to suggest a request. Votes are one per person, and we answer on the request.

Building

On the bench now — in the next release.

Sign-in

Sign in the way the office already signs in. Two-factor stays where it is enrolled; linking a provider to an account is always your explicit choice.

Subcontracts, lien waivers and warranties on your letterhead

Documents

Templates with the job’s own fields filled in — the client, the site, the contract value, the dates, the trade — edited, then signed with a typed signature from the job.

What QuickBooks did with what we pushed

Books

Paid, partial, open or voided, with the payment dates and the QuickBooks number, beside every pushed invoice and bill; a payment recorded there and not here is one confirm away. The books stay yours — we never write back.

The homeowner’s notification choices and a closeout survey

Owner portal

Each homeowner picks what they are emailed about; when the job closes, five questions and a line — and your public review link after.

Sessions, sign-in alerts, require two-factor

Security

See every device signed in and sign one out; an email on a new-device sign-in; an admin’s switch that asks every member for a second factor, with a week’s grace.

Every money row with its history

Security

Who changed which field from what to what, and when — on estimate lines, budget lines, change orders, invoices, pay applications, orders and bills; the audit log exportable by date.

Safety forms: toolbox talks, inspections, the incident log

Field

A toolbox-talk library signed on the phone, inspection checklists with pass / fail per item and a photo, an incident form, and the log on your letterhead.

Planned

Decided and scheduled; the order can still move with your votes.

Your data on a schedule

Workspace

A weekly or monthly export of the whole workspace, mailed to the owner as a link — the same bundle you can request any day.

Keys you issue, so your own tools can read your data

Integrations

Read-only keys made in Settings, scoped to your workspace, shown once, revoked in one click — for the spreadsheet, the dashboard or the assistant you already use.

Shared price books

Catalog

A supplier or an office publishes a price book; you subscribe, and a refresh is offered to your open estimates — never applied on its own.

Takeoff that keeps working offline

Takeoff

A sheet set you opened once is there without a signal; what you draw merges when you are back, and the banner says what merged.

Considering

Asked for; not yet decided. Votes are how it gets decided.

Apps in the phone stores

Field

The field and portal pages install from the browser today. A store app is a second release train; we will build it when enough of you ask for it by name.

Help one key away

Office

Press ? on any desk for that desk’s article, the money words its headings carry, and the keys. G then a letter opens a desk; N then a letter starts a job, an estimate, an invoice or a change order.

Month-end on your letterhead

Reports

The WIP schedule, AR aging, the 30-day cash forward, profitability by job, labor against budget, commission and job cost by division — printable, exportable, the math a hover away.

Paste a spreadsheet into the estimate

Estimating

Rows and columns from your spreadsheet land in the sheet with a mapping you can change; blanks carry down; waste and markup columns land where they belong.

A bill from a photo

Bills

Photograph the receipt; the draft bill’s fields are read on your device and are yours to confirm. Nothing saves until you say so.

Proposals

Good, better, best — the client picks a tier in the proposal; the total follows; the office confirms before anything moves.

Why not

Asked for, and not planned — with the reason, in plain words.

A takeoff that draws for you

Takeoff

Every tool that draws for you has to guess, and the estimator checks every guess anyway.

Our answer · We suggest and you confirm — rooms found from the drawing’s own lines, a fill from a click, counts from spacing — and nothing is stored until you say so. The number you measure is the number you bill; a guess cannot promise that.

Not planned

Two-way sync with QuickBooks

Books

Changes made in the books flowing back and rewriting invoices here.

Our answer · The books stay yours. We push what you choose, one way, and show you what QuickBooks did with it. A sync that rewrites invoices is the complaint we hear most about other tools, and we will not add it.

Not planned

Homeowner financing

Owner portal

Offering your clients loans from inside the proposal.

Our answer · Your client’s money stays between you and your client. Deposits, milestone payments and progress draws are here; a lending marketplace is not something we will put between you.
