Team & permissions: roles, seats, invites
Seven roles with sensible defaults, per-permission overrides when a person does not fit the mold, and per-project access for people who should only see their own jobs. Seats are per package; portal collaborators never use one.
1. Pick a role
Admin, Project Manager, Coordinator, Estimator, Site Superintendent, Field, and Viewer each carry default permissions — who can manage the team, edit takeoff, handle financials, create change orders, export reports, or see every project. Coordinator sees money and runs court, files, and logs without writing commitments or takeoff.

Flip individual permissions when a role default does not fit. Per-project access can restrict someone to assigned jobs, or make them view-only on one project while they edit another.

Send the invite from Team — they set a password and join this workspace. If the email cannot be delivered, you get a copyable invite link to share yourself. Team invites unlock once you subscribe.

Packages include seats — one on Subcontractor, two on Homebuilder, four on Commercial — and extra seats are $29/mo. Owners and trades on signed portal links never consume a seat.
