Import tasks from Budget or add them by hand. Finish-to-start links paint the critical path on the Gantt. Filter to Today or the 21-day look-ahead, track % complete, and set a baseline so slips are visible against the plan you committed to.
Open the job Schedule tab. Import from Budget for a starter plan — lines arrive as a sequential chain you re-order — or add tasks by hand with dates and durations.
Open Projects →Connect tasks finish-to-start. The Gantt computes float from those links and paints the critical path — no separate engine to buy. Move a predecessor and its chain moves with it.
Schedule tab →Use 21-day look-ahead to hide bars that do not overlap the next three weeks. Today on schedule shows only bars active today — the crew’s view of what matters this morning.
Look-ahead filter →Update % complete as work lands; progress can mirror into the job task list and daily log where you use those. Set a baseline snapshot when the plan is committed, so later date slips show against what you originally scheduled.
