A Safety tab on every job and in Field: hold a toolbox talk from a short library tagged by trade — or one of your own — and record who was there, report an incident the same day and follow it up, walk your own inspection checklists on the phone with a photo where it helps, and print the incident log on your letterhead under the heading you keep it under. Nothing here is filed with a regulator — the log prints for your own records.
Open the job → Safety → Hold a talk. Pick the trade and a talk — fifteen short ones, from housekeeping and ladders to trenches and hot work — then read out the points and put the one question to the crew. Print a blank sheet for a crew signing on paper and type the names from it after, or hold the talk from Field → Safety and pass the phone round: each person types their own name, and a latecomer signs the talk later the same day. The sheet prints with every name; a name typed on the phone says so, and the lines left over are for a pen. Talks your sites need that the library does not have — the crane on this job, the client’s own site rules — go under Your talks: the points to cover, the trades, a question if you want one. They sit beside the library in the office and on the phone.
Open a job →Safety → Incidents → Report an incident: what kind (a near miss, first aid, medical treatment, lost time or property damage), the day and the time, where, what happened in the words of the person who saw it, who was hurt, the injury, the first aid given and by whom, the witness, and who it was reported to. From the phone, Field → Safety sends the report with a photo, with or without a signal. Each report takes the job’s next number — INC-001, INC-002 — when it lands.
Open Field →Edit a report as you learn more — days away from work, days on restricted work, the first aid filled in — and mark it closed when the follow-up is done. A case beyond first aid (medical treatment, days away, restricted work) is marked recordable, and the card at the top of the tab counts the days since the last one beside the talks held this month, the open reports and the items the inspection checklists left failed.
Open a job →Choose the heading the workspace keeps its log under — the OSHA 300 shape, a first aid record, or every report — and the period, then Print the log: the cases in columns on your letterhead, with the days added up at the foot. Tick privacy on a report and the log prints "Privacy case" instead of the name. Check what your jurisdiction requires you to keep, post and report — the log is your record, not a filing.
Open a job →Safety → Inspections → Your checklists: write the inspections your sites walk — the weekly scaffold walk, the pre-pour check — a title and the items to check, one to a line. On the phone, Field → Inspect → New inspection offers them beside the built-in ones: pass, fail or mark each item not applicable, take a photo of an item where it helps — the missing guardrail, the unsigned tag — and sign it complete. The office reads each inspection on the Safety tab with its tally, the photos on its items and who signed it, the items left failed counted on the card, and prints it on your letterhead.
