Estimate → proposal → send
The workspace estimate is the takeoff-to-proposal worksheet. The job Estimate tab is the hierarchical budget editor. Push quantities, price, then send a proposal the client can approve.
1. Price the worksheet
Open Estimating with a job selected. Takeoff handoff lands as lines. Set waste and unit cost — select several lines to apply the same waste or price at once.

When the worksheet is ready, push flat lines onto the job budget. Locked budgets must be unlocked on the job first. The job Estimate tab stays the hierarchical editor.

Create a proposal from the estimate. Merge tokens fill job, client, SOV total, and exclusions. Preview as PDF (browser print) before you send for typed approval.
