Closeout: punch, retainage, and the binder
Closeout lives on Job Home — punch closed, warranties logged, retainage released, owner acceptance recorded. The binder is a print of that checklist, not a second file cabinet.
1. Open Closeout on the job
On Job Home, Closeout lists punch, O&M folders, warranties, and retainage held. Nothing here is a separate closeout product.
Open Projects →2. Close punch and log warranties
Zero open punch before you call the job closed. Warranty claims live on the same job — chase from Warranties or Job Home.
Warranties →3. Release retainage, then print the binder
Held retainage shows from the job ledger. Record owner acceptance when they sign off, then print the binder for the file.
