A change event prices the work. Approve the change order once and the money lands on the budget once — no double entry.

1. Open a change event

On the job, Change Events capture ROM and linked budget lines. Price it, then roll into a change order.

The client approves in the portal with a typed name. Approved dollars update the job budget once.
